Just Installed the RETRAX rigid bed cover.
I saw the add for RETRAX on the DTR sight so I gave them a call. The price is a little higher than I expected (1072 for the cover, bed gasket, and 2 electronic locking switches shipping was free). When I pulled everything from the boxes I could see why the price is high. Well built, easy to install and pretty clean look. Yesterday I left San Diego for a trip to Lucerne Valley. When I left my house my overhead said 18.6mpg. (I know they are wrong but it is an indicator none the less). When I pulled back into my driveway it read 20.7. I am going to fill the tank today and do the hand calc to get an indication. I usually get 15 mpg. If it goes to 17 I will be doing cheetah flips in a phone booth. Pics to follow.

hand calc mpg came out at 17.1. That is better than 2 mpg by adding a cover. The fit and finish on this cover is pretty nice. Now I feel compelled to give the truck a bath more than once a quarter. This cover is a winner all around!!!
