Just Installed Diablo Predator and Autometer gauges!!
So just finished installing the Diablo Predator and Autometer gauges. First started with Diablo on Performance setting, didnt notice to much of a difference. Changed it to Extreme tune and is better, but I guess I was just expecting a little more out of it.
Maybe I will have to add the power puck, anyone understand how this stack thing works. As well as I would like to switch between Extreme and tow setting, can you do that on the fly?

few more things, EGT's were about 400 at idle and up to 900 at wot, boost was at about 37psi wot. These numbers sound normal? As well as what do you think I should do next to the truck?

Shift on the fly will not happen, from what I have read on diablosport.com. I am surprised to hear you could not feel that much difference on performance setting. From stock to "performance" tune is a pretty big boost. Were you saying you did not notice a big diff. from stock to the predator, or from some other box to the predator?

honestly I did not notice much performance gain from stock to performance. Big difference with smoke, a little too much for city driving, but otherwise not impressive power. However, I don't know the history of this truck, perhaps it could already have a tune in it? Any way to tell?

You should have felt a big difference from stock. It sounds like you may have another problem. I know I felt a big difference. As for your WOT EGT's, they seem very low. Is your pyro pre or post turbo?

pre turbo, mind you this was a short drive not pushing her to hard all the time at 8 celcius Calgary weather. What other problems do you think I could have?

Even though it is cold there, 900° is extremely cool. Your gauge could be defective. It sounds like something in the chip is not working correctly to me. I just know that when I installed the Predator on the performance setting I noticed a huge difference from stock. Maybe you were just expecting more!?!?

That's about the same boost I got. I put on a boost fooler and it would spike around 41-42 psi every once in a while. But 37 psi sounds right for a stock turbo and a programmer.

Ya i put the predator on my truck and it really woke it up i thought i run it on extreme. I have the power puck but leave it off untill i feel like getting on it. My egt goes up alot higher than 900 more like 1200 to 1300 wot at 37-38 lbs boost. I am happy with the way my system works, so mabey something or someother thing is on your truck.

Spool, what clutch is in there? If it is a stocker man you are slipping it like crazy. That performance mode should have made a world of difference! It did on mine, the boost is where it should be as well.

I can actually slip my clutch a bit on the performance setting. I normally run it on this setting, I just don't get up on the loud pedal that hard.
My boost guage will only peg out to 35 and then quickly snaps down two 30 psi and holds there. I don't have a boost fooler so I'm assuming that it is the wastegate that is opening up. Am I right on this?
This is my first Dodge CTD, so I don't know a lot about the motor specfics.

well my clutch doesnt slip at all on extreme setting (i've got the nvtranny), its a stocker. Spending more time with it today, my egt's were around 1100 for a short spike at wot. Maybe there is something wrong with my truck?
