just checking

I run my smarty on 8 all the time. when I run the tst up past 3 on hp, truck seems to miss and cut out bad. I am sure that the that I am draining the rail, meaning that the factory cp3 cannot keep up. just wanted to be sure thats whats happening before I drop the $1500 plus for the modded cp3.

Yeah, you're probably draining the rail. I've got a similar setup, and anything 3 or above, and I get the same missing...and the rail pressure gauge is below 10k. I can drain the rail as well with TST on 2/1 if I stay into it for more than 5 seconds or so. --Eric

Hold out for the beta program. It may help you with your rail draining issue by adding a little pressure
