juice w/ attitude vs TST vs warranty...

Well, I know you pay to play but... I heard TST is undetectable (sp?) because it is its own computer. Well, juice seems to be the same way...does that mean its the same? I know there is a moral decision here with the warranty issues but honestly stuff like injectors are known for going bad in these trucks. If I blow a tranny, its my fault, I wouldnt expect them to fix it. Id go with a built one anyways, its like an excuse to

Post #1...Im in the same boat and joined up to the site to ask the same question...Plus a few others....The best I can tell is the hi boost #s will be recorded and thats when dodge will say its been tampered with...I would think there has to be a way around that... blow off valve?? or a setting on the attitude?????

Im not sure but I think the TST raises the fuel rail #s and that will send the same type of flag as the boost #s....anyway I got the jucie w/attitude for my 04.5.... Well I hope I got that close to the way it is...

it depends on the dealer...
1) You could have a cool dealership that will fix any warranty items that has nothing to do with your programmer. My A/C went out, and my local dealership fixed it because it couldnt be traced back to my programmer. they also said that its per dealership (not all do this), but if they cannot track it to the programmer then its ok.
2) you could have a SOB dealership that sees you have/had a programmer and void your warranty (also extended) and put a ban on your VIN # so no matter what dealership you take it to, once they pull your VIN they see that no warranty work is to be done.
3) If you have to take it in for a warranty issue, you pull your programmer and everything that could tell you had something in there. (its wrong, but o-well I say...)

always keep in mind, you play you pay.

TST does nothing to rail pressure. it does heavily change timing and injection duration depending on setting but does not use pressure at all.
