Jobe Performance Shaker Intercooler?
I seen this in the October Issue of Dieselpower say they are going to make it for the cummins soon.

I'm not sure I want to cut my hood up like that to get it to fit? I dont' think anything thicker than stock (maybe 3") would fit in the stock location. 4 inches thick and you'd have to do some serious mods.... I'd rather just mount it at the back of the truck with some pusher fans, away from all heat (almost like the off roaders due for the radiator)

plus the air flowing perpendicular over the fins will pull engine compartment heat out through the inter cooler instead of pushing air down through it...
only way it might work is to elevate the back higher to make air flow through the fins...
Only thing getting cooled on that is the bottom of the cooler...

I like the thinking.....I don't like the result.....good plan.....poor execution. I've seen the Rad moved elsewhere and two intercoolers put in the front.....I've heard of three intercoolers in the nose. 1.5 seconds to full boost .... not bad..... for a ford. I think alot neater setups will be seen that are an improvement of what we have now. I hooked my liquid intercooler up today an with 20% meth....were getting freezin temps up here now....I was 200 degrees cooler at 35psi and hauling butt. I love when that LED lights up. 20psi to 39psi in about .2 seconds. 4 tiny well placed nozzles and the stock intercooler will outperform anything on the market....but it takes liquid....The best bet is an intercooler that flows at least 50% more than stock and a liquid backup. My buddy down the road builds high technology heat exchangers for the pharmaceutical and electronics industry....HeHeHe....I'll let you know how it works in the springtime. ks
