Question Jake Brake switch location

I just got my Jake Brake that I ordered off of ebay for $650.00 and $24.00 shipping and no tax. What a deal!!! It comes with a switch that mounts on your gearshift (I have a automatic), is there another location that I can mount it that looks better. I thought I have heard of some people installing it on the dash somewhere.
Thanks, John

Switch Location

I have a Pac-Brake system and the switch is installed on my gear shift, but mine is a manual. I like it there as it is out of the way, yet I usually rest my hand on the gear lever and it is in easy reach if required.

I'm actually going to add a switch to it for my air horns.

The jake switch is kind of an odd switch to mount anywhere else other than the shift lever. I looked around but couldn't come up with anything I liked so I put it on the lever.

Bonshawman, i like where you installed your switch but DJENSEN is right, the switch for the Pack Brake is wierd.

When I got my Jake Brake installed they put the switch on the gear lever (auto) and I thought that looked wierd. But after driving for six months I can't imagine it anywhere else.

Here's a pic of mine. I think it looks pretty good mounted on the shift lever.
