right now where i am it is roughly between 55-65 degrees out out so not cold enough for preheat. when i start my truck it blows blue smoke and the motor will chug(it sounds like a motor with a real rough cam in it, it just keeps barking at you) from any where from 5-25 seconds then clears up but if u give a little throttle say to about 1000rpm for a second it stops it will clear up right away and seems to drive normal. it only does it when you first start it in the morning or when i get out of work at 5. around town stopping at the store and letting it sit for about 30min or so it doesnt do it. the motor and pumps are all stock it has a bully dog probgramer in it but doesnt matter if its in or out. what could cause this

Sounds like a leaking injector.

Check the fuel filter. I was having the same problems, 70 degree days and it would give smoke on the initial start up of the day for about 30 seconds and then it would clear up, no problem what so ever during the rest of the day. I thought it was leaking an injector, most on here thought it was too, the dealer couldn't find out what was wrong with it, even after it being there twice, so finally I ended up changing the fuel filter, problem solved.
