isspro gauge under the hood? thoughts..
im thinking of going back to my 3 gauge pillar pod. i dont want to mount 4th gauge on the steering column or in/on the dash. i was wondering if there would be an issue mounting my fuel pressure gauge under the hood? id run enough slack in the line that i could read it if i pulled it out from under the hood. i was think a single gauge holder like they sell on genos would be suffice. being its an isspro and its mechanical- there is no need to run any power to it correct?

Power would be used for the backlight.... Are you mounting it in the engine compartment? I don't know how that gauge would help if you fuel pressure dropped? If you want to eliminate a guage, I think they make a (red) light that can turn on once your pressure goes below a preset mark?

no biggie, then just put it in-line with a tee. cant speak for your brand of gauges, but i have had an autometer fuel pressure guage mounted under the hood in my mustang for 15 years, still works fine, no issues to date.

I would suggest some type of liquid filled gauge for under the hood
on my old 01 I used a under hood gauge..it was like 10bucks from my local Grainger..worked great for the most part..but I LOVE seeing whats going on all the time ...not just every now and then.

I have a low pressure light w/ my Raptor 100. Kicks on w/ 5psi or lower. It is the BD Low Fuel Pressure light. When I swapped my BD Aux Lift Pump w/ the Rator 100. I left the light in as a indicator on my tripple pillar.
