this is my second install of an isspro gauge. i have the gauge installed (tranny gauge) when i turn on the lights both gauges light up- but if i use the dimmer switch to lower the lighting- the gauge i just installed makes a noise- like a low buzzing sound- goes away when i move the dimmer switch up to full power-what gives??

 

I am thinking you hooked the power wire to the lighting wire???

so you should have one wire go to a switched +12volt source.(to run the stepper-motor)
and the other should be the gauge lights..witch is hooked to the dimmer switch.

thats my guess

thanks for the reply! i thought that too! after the fact! double and tripled checked. wires hooked up correctly gauge lighty dims-but gauges buzzes- turn dimmer switch all the way up-gauge no longer buzzes. will see on the way to work in the monring if the gauge functions!
