Isspro boost guage rattles

I just bought my Isspro guages from DPP and my boost guage starts to rattle at 20psi,I used the clear tubing that they sent with the kit,any ideas whats causing this. Also I am not real impressed with the fit of the a-pillar pod,it has no factoy clips or no tabs at the front bottom,in this normal or did I get a blem,It kind of rattles too,It came from DPP also,They are great folks and I have not called them yet because they are closed by the time I get home.

You'll need to put needle valve in the to cut the pressure to the gage to minimum. Similiar to the pic below on a 2nd gen.

I just installed 2 weeks ago my ISSPRO boost gauge which I purchased at DieselManor. They gave me a 1/8 in. hose kit. I installed it with the boost bolt, and have hit 31lbs and no noise, vibe, or anything, been quiet since day one. Alot of people on here say that you need at least an 1/8 in tubing kit to solve the vibe/ratteling probs with the boost gauge. Check your tubing size, if it is 1/8 in tubing, call the place where you purchased the gauge, and maybe they can have a solution.

I also just finished putting my A piller 3 gauge from from Diesel manor. I used a boost bolt as well and the supplied 1/8 diameter tubing. My tubing color was black though, not clear as you stated. I secured the tube to the wire harness at the back of the engine compartment before running it through the rubber grommet. I have been very happy with the install and the parts supplied.

Yeah some people dont have rattle problems with boost gauges but alot with a fuel pressure gauge. So a needle valve or a snubber valve should take care of it to cut the rattle down. Their a couple bucks.

The A-pillar has to be attached to the factory one or you can just screw it into something. Someone on here has done that but cant remember who.

On my 2006, it was a direct replacement for the factory piller. it attached with 1 screw at the top of the piller.
