Interesting twin turbo setup

After someone posted the relentless diesel turbo package i looked at their site. What do you guys think of this truck? http://www.relentlessdiesel.com/foru...topic.php?t=67

Thats pretty much what i want to do, and all of the parts are available for an 05 or 06 but i still don't know about the injectors though only diesel dynamics hads a 75hp injector for 04.5 to 05. I think it is amazing that he gets 23mpg. Is there any way i could build relatively the same truck except on an 06' megacab platform, Also i noticed that some of you have a 4.5" skyjacker lift with 37" tires, how do you like it? I want either BFG KM's or nitto mud grapplers. any advice would be appreciated

I've seen that truck in person and on the dyno. It puts out the numbers they say it does. Chris is a stand up guy and I have no doubts about the EGT's or mileage he's getting.

The hp and strip numbers are believable...without the injectors, but the mpg? No way unless it is downhill, 55 mph, with a tailwind...

Over by conroe. It's about 45 minutes from College Station. If I remember correctly, Chris's shop (he installed my vb and soon my complete tranny) is right off of 45. Don't quote me though.

yea, i looked online. it is on 45 or right off. I'm really interested in how good their work is because to get to them i will have to drive like 530 mi. but it's kinda soon to be worring about it. have to save for the nect 6mo. it'll be worth it. Do you think i could get buy with the tranny mods that guy has or would i need to just buy a whole tranny?

Chances are good that he's got the whole tranny himself, they just don't list it. Chris's work is first rate. He did 2 of my buddies tranny's and they've both been great. They both beat on them constantly and neither of them have faltered. Chris himself is a great guy. When he did my VB he let me sit there and watch and he answered all of my questions without ever getting irritated or annoyed. He's definately going to be getting my money for the tranny once I can scrape it up.
