I am looking at upgrading my intake/air filter on my 04. I Have the stock turbo on there right now but want to upgrade later down the road. I was wondering if I buy an intake now will I be able to use it with an aftermarket turbo down the road? What intake would those of you suggest? I have been looking at a brute force by AEM. The next question I have is, is an 04.5's turbos intake side a different size than an 04's ? will an 04.5 turbo bolt on to an 04? and if not why? just trying to learn.

You can buy an intake now & it will work with the 04.5+ turbo. Inlet diameter & mounting is the same. There is more info on the turbo swap in this post:
