Intake tube baffles !!

The x baffle in the tube from the airbox to the turbo, can i take it out and will it make a difference in hp or turbo scream? If so how do you take it out?

I pulled mine and didnt notice much of a difference. Maybe a tad louder but i dought it. I figure that it couldnt help airflow so I ganked it. I took it out by removing the housing from the trck. Then carefully sticking a small set screwdriver between the 2 pieces that make the plastic tube and carefully twisting the blade till I got all the way around. Kind of like using a P38 can opener. Once I got all the way around it pretty much popped apart allowing me to pull the cross out of the center of the tube. I put a few small drops of model glue on it and put the 2 pieces back together and reinstalled it on the truck.

Same here. Left the stock one in the garage and put on a Chromed Stack pipe. Doesn't add any HP but it did make your turbo sing a little louder.
