Intake Manifolds - ATS CFM+ ?? Feedback

I know I know the stock intake manifold is good for over 500+
but I am after more MPG , lower EGTS etc.

So does anyone have any feedback on any of the manifolds, Im not concerned with looks just performance. What did you notice after install? Install should be easy....?

Going to order one just not sure which one yet.

Thanks

take your pick, they're all nice intakes. None will get you better mpg's or egt's. I had a CFM and now have a ATS. The only thing I noticed is " maybe " the turbo spools a little quicker. The differences in what an intake does could only be seen on a dyno and that's even questionable. Unless you're heading toward 600hp or up, I really don't think it matters which intake you buy.

The CFM does stay cool compared to the others since it's composite. It's air flow is likely better than others since it has no restrictions. The ATS is nice because it has ports to add injection if wanted.

The installs couldn't be easier. Just unbolt the old and install the new.

I have had an ATS intake on for about a week. My throttle response is better and the turbo spool is quicker. Acceleration also seems smoother. Turbo seems louder, especially above 2000 rpms. If I gained any power it is at the top end of the rpms. Reduced turbo bark some, but did not eliminate it. Minimal, if any gain in mpg. Don't have guages on yet so I can't give you an egt answer.

Note: The stock polyboot that connects the intake to intercooler hose isn't quite long enough to fit comfortablly with the ATS intake on versus the stock one. I bought another one that was couple inches longer from NAPA just to be safe.

No I didn't, I used my stock boot. The only problem I had was it's very tight because of a bulge on the intake that the hose slides over. I found the trick to be installing the boot side first then then the block side.

I forgot to mention I made them match a price from the PDI (performance diesel inc) website. Price doesn't include shipping.

I dont think my banks did a darn thing if anything my turbo may spool a little faster. But it looks pretty cool. I would spend my money elsewhere is you didnt want cosmetics. Thants just my .02.
