Intake Manifolds
I was wondering how much of a difference intake manifolds make and which one is the best one to go with Banks,ATS, or CFM.

I don't have one personally, but from what I've heard your money would be better spent elsewhere. If you want to run things like water/meth, nitrous, boost gauge, etc the ATS or Glacier manifold are good pieces since they have ports built into them.

I am very happy with mine from AFE.It will benefit the towing crowd more than the racers if you look at the dyno chart and where the gains take place.I can tow at lower rpm(better mileage) with the egts in check and good driveability.

Better flowing intake horns DO lower EGT's, that seems to me to be the greater benefit over possible horsepower gains. I'm not saying that a little hp gain is not taking place, there are many with dyno information that suggest hp gains DO happen as well.
I was looking for reduction of EGT's since I do a lot of towing, most of my towing is at high altitudes, and high SW desert temps. I got the Power Flow intake manifold from GDP and am happy with the results it has given me regarding lowering of EGT's. You can check it out in the DTR Store here on the site.
I also went to a larger filter intake, I installed the Ice Box Intake, the Amsoil 4510 nano filter has more surface intake area over the Amsoil drop-in nano filter, the Ice Box has more unrestricted air intake over the stock box. You would also get the same air intake results with the BHAF, I was just looking for something that had a nice complimentary appearance to the other things I have changed in the engine bay that would still accomplish my goals of more intake air and better flowing intake system in the overall. I also installed an Outerwears on the 4091 filter. The other mod I did to gain lower EGT's was the ME. My total reduction of EGT's at this time is right at 200*. This amount has made me a very happy camper. I have a 3-mile +, 6% grade climb, going from 3500 ft elevation to about 5200 ft elevation, and a second one that's a little shorter in distance going from the 5k ft to 7K ft, those had my EGT's pushing/exceeding the 1200* mark on a 100* + day. Now my EGT's are not exceeding 1K*'s on those same climbs. If I gained any hp in all of this, it to me is just a plus. I do have a snappier throttle and have noticed a faster spool-up.

I've got the ATS. The turbo MIGHT spool a little faster, no real noticeable power gain. My EGT's dropped about +/- 50 degrees at highway speed of around 65 mph. The whistle pf the turbo is a little more noticeable, so thats an added benefit.

I had to order some new GDP 2-Micron fuel filters, and while I was on the site, I somehow couldn't resist ordering their Power-Flo Intake Manifold.
I placed my order for a few things on Friday afternoon, and shortly after received an e-mail that my order had been shipped, and included a tracking number. It arrived on Tuesday, well-packed and with a very clear set of directions for the install.
The intake looks to be very well-made and should definitely increase flow over the stock unit. Install was easy and straightforward. I don't notice any extra power by the seat-o-pants meter, but it sure looks good under there! I'm hoping my EGT will be a lil lower with this. I'll know after my trip to Lake Shasta this weekend.

I went with a Hellmann Performance air horn.. If I remember correctly, they are $225 and have two ports for water, etc..
