Installing Ts shift Master

I am putting the TS shift master on the truck in my sig but i cant get the directions to match up with what i see on my tranny. I am just trying to do it this weekend so thats why i havent had a chance to talk to TS yet but i was just wondering if there is any 04.5 guys that are running one that might have found just a lil difference in the installation instructions.

These are the instructions i have been using...

Do ya suppose THIS might have something to do with it?

TS SHIFT MASTER
2005-2007 Dodge Trucks

Yours is an 04.5, the instructions and the ShiftMaster are for 05 and up trucks. Your truck does not have the wiring or even need the enhancer.

I understand what you are saying and what you are reading, but, ya gotta question things when the instructions don't match the description.

To the best of my knowledge, NO 04.5 truck had the neccessary pieces for this unit to work. MY05 was the first release of the TV motor that needs these enhancers to fix the shuttle shift.

Here ia an easy way to tell if it will work on your truck:

1. Look at the trans on drivers side where the shift cable hooks to the trans

2. If you have another cable above the gear shift cable as opposed to a large silver motor that bolts to the case, the shift enhancer WILL NOT WORK.

Sorry, TS can blab all day about how it will work on such and such and they are FOS. The electronic shift enhancers will not work on a trans that has a manual TV pressure control.
