Installing Geno's MEK- any tips??
Just got the straight pipe from Geno's today on the porch. I am gonna install it this weekend, I figured I'd toss out a question to all you who have already done it. Any tips to make installation easier? Any "coulda, shoulda, woulda" ideas? I noticed it only had one clamp included, is that all I need? Lastly, any chance of me being able to save the stock muffler, if it ever needs to go back on, or am I gonna have to mangle the pipes? Thanks a bunch

I pulled my muffler after only 10,000 miles and it was already rusted on plus the U-clamps dent it so bad that there's no way to pull it off without using a Sawzall. Just cut it and toss it........

Don't listen to Dodgezilla... he is too old. It should sound great
I cut my stock muffler with an angle grinder and just pitched it. You reuse the stock clamps... the one supplied is for the hanger. Oh, and use WD-40 on the hangers to make them much easier to remove.

Listen here Sonny!!!!!
Funny guy Dan!! I actually went back to the straight pipe again and I do like the sound but when I get on it, Man is it loud!! Remember, you still have the cat whereas we don't... I'm trying to get prices on an MBRP muffler but it always seems hard to get pricing from the venders for some reason.....
I definitely won't go back to the Magnaflow I had. Now that I've had the SP, I just can't stand the quiet.....
