installing CB radio
Finally got the CB in and installed it last night. When i keyed up the mic the engine idle speed fluctuated about 50 rpms. What causes this and are there any filters that need to be installed to fix this problem. Thanks.

RF interference can do some pretty amazing things.
We used to have Motorola "Brick" radios that, when keyed up within a couple of feet of a computer monitor, would cause the screen to blur.

RF can make your computer due alot of wierd things. As others have stated, try rerouting the antenna cable and also install yourself a fuse panel in the truck with a relay connected to the cigerette lighter so that its only on when the truck is on. Works gret and lasts a long time

Two things happen win you key up RF single is getting to your BOX'S 100 HP & VA . I had the same problem last year till I changed my CB rig and DAVE Made to a lower power. I'm now running 140 EXzillarator. And ran all Zillerbox cables not close to antenna or power for CB. Good luck
