Injectors and emmisions?

Was thinking about getting the DDP stage 1 injectors when my stockers start to give out since they have an available SS body. I was just wondering if I will still be able to pass emmisions with the better flow of the injectors even with my power adders removed for testing. Anyone have experience with this?

I have a very slight haze at idle. If they look for that, then maybe.

Right on! Now I will be more inclined to do the upgrade when its time. $500 per injector is steep though. Thanks for the info!

They only plug in to OBDII and scan for codes in CONN. They dont sniff on roller anymore.

With a stock turbo, you will have no problem.

I failed the snap test several times with my "extrude honed" F1's, but it was with a slow spooling Silver62.

From what I have noticed, most people who start off with DDP stage 1 injectors, end up with their 90's. You may want to consider them to begin with, You still should pass easily with your stock charger.

Yeah I had thought about the 90's but I have been told by several people that at 5,280 ft which is the altitude here in denver it easy to put in too much injector and that its not necessary to go that big.

Yeah, here in TEXAS it is a safety inspection only, no sniffer. A whole whopping $14.50 a year.

The 90's aren't bad at all here, I woukld say they run a smidgen hotter then at sea level, but every car is fighting for air up here!

Denverdodge,

Have you had any problems with passing emmisions I know they still use the sniffer in Colorado?

no i just turn everything off and go down to Diesels Only off of Almieda, as far as the sniffers on the freeway entrance ramps just take it easy if you see them, because they will send you a notice to go to emmissions if your hot. I've always kept my stock tips until recently just in case i couldn't pass but always have. a little bigger turbo i'm sure would help to clean everything out a little more with no tuners on.
