first. make sure that the ones you found are legit. there are a lot of people who claim they have a product, and it actually isnt what you thought it was. I am pretty sure i have heard about some people claiming they were selling some F1's and it turned out they werent. needless to say the customer was not happy.

second, in defense of Don. I havent heard of a bad turnaround yet. I know there was a lag when he was changing over his office, but I sent mine in on a thursday, and had them back in my truck the following friday. to me, that is instant given what he had to do.

but i have heard some great things about DDP's as well.....why do they make it so tough!????

I've had DDP 90's, and now have flux 2.4's.

The DDP's worked good, and now 2007 5.9 "Les" has them and they're working great for him. The 2.4's are a larger injector, and smoke accordingly. Both injectors made the power they promised. I did not see a mileage improvement with the DDP 90's as claimed. DDP wasn't really interested about mileage findings when I called them. I decided that Don would get my business the second time around. I can tell you that the Flux injectors are so smooth it's rediculous. Even my buddies asked me what I changed. They could tell that my truck sounded different at idle. Probably can't go wrong either way, but if I get another set of injectors they'll be fluxs.

Are the 2.4s much stronger than the 90s?

The turn around time can be worked with..... When I had PDW I would schedule a customers injectors with F1. Pretty much you pull and send them overnight one day and Don does his magic and overnights them back. Normal down time is 3 days.

I think DDP has a great product, but I think the F1 line is just as good but like stated I know that my injector bodies are in tip top shape, where as with the DDP tips you really have no idea.

Not trying to argue, just wondering how the F1s are double DDPs, and stating why I chose F1. Again, I thing DDP have good products and a really good sales staff too.
Double meaning for us 03-04 guys, sorry I shouldn't have made that comment since it doesn't apply to most 5.9s. DDP 90s can be had for around 600-650ish, not quite half, but a BIG difference for an 03 owner.

I had DDP 90s in for about a month and then went to Flux 1.8s - long story. Anyway, I noticed 3 things. Truck sounds better with the 1.8s, 1.8s have smoother acceleration, and there was a seat of the pants power improvement with the 1.8s. Both are rated at 90hp.

I see, that makes sense, I was just wondering if I missed something.

Omaha, I think that post will be very informative to a lot of people. And on a side note, I was kinda worried that my 2.5s may not be enough fuel but if the 1.8s feel stronger than the 90s then I think I am really gona like the 2.5s when I get a cp3 to support em. I hear the 2.5 is a nice smooth running injector too.

yes, much stronger.

With the TNT and the F2.4's, I'd plan on more fuel than a stage 2 pump.
