Injectors ???

Hey guys,
Well here we go again. Now that I have my starting troubles figured out it's time to upgrade my injectors. I'm going with F1s and was thinking that I would go with a 40hp set. The thing is I don't want to do it twice so will I see a nice bump in power with the 40's or should I go to a 100hp set. I mean the price is the same... I wouldn't have any trouble doing a cp3 mode if I need to. I want to end about 500 hp or a little more. I do have a 62/12 turbo on the shelf that will be going on when I get the truck up and running at 100%.
Thanks guys,
Topper

The flux 1's will deliver more than the advertised 40 HP rating. That is a very conservative number. They are geared towards the stock cp3's and can always be upgraded to larger injectors in the future if you end up going with a modded pump or dual pumps.

I had a customer that ran a self modded pump that ran the flux 2's and he had trouble maintaining rail pressure. They are more geared towards a stage 2 pump but can be used with the self modded pumps in some applications.

I dont think I would go any bigger than the 40hp with a stock cp3. but thats my own personal opinion. ive you plan to get a stage 2 cp3 or dual pumps soon I would say go a little bigger maybe. injectors have helped out alot on my truck making the turbo light faster. I would think about any injector will help out

I'm running Flux 2's with a stock cp3 with no problems at all. I think you can get by with flux 2's with a stock cp3. You say you want to get 500 hp anyways so your gonna need to upgrade your cp3 before to long. While your at it go with the flux 2's you'll be fine.

Thanks guys for all the help.
Let me ask this, with the 40hp stix and the rest of my mods will I make it to my goal of 500hp?
Thanks,
Topper

the 62/12 will play a big part in that. You should be OK though. You will definitely have enough fuel to do 500

Flux 2's

If your anything like most of us go with the Flux 2's. 500 was my goal also and after I made 500 my goal became 600. I went with the Flux 2's on my 04 and hit 559 on the stock CP3. Truck now baselines at 370 to the wheels and smoke is not a problem. I say get the 2's and you wont regret it. LMills who posted above will be able to hook you up.

I say go for the Flux 2's as well! My stock CP3 is able to keep up with no problems.

Worst comes to worst you may need to upgrade the CP3 to a Stage II...which is probably a good idea anyway.
