Injector Suggestions??

Ok here's the Deal:

I want the biggest injector that i can possibly run, while still being towable. Currently have 120hp injectors in my truck now, and just ordered my silverbullet, too get rid of this rinky tink 62. When running for HP i run the Smarty Beta 4.2 stacked with a custom Dr.P Predator, and currently hold 26.5K - 27.5K rail pressure at WOT with my II Stage 3 pump. When towing, obviously i turn it everything down, and can easily keeps temps in the 800*F range @ 60-70mph in 6th gear (about 1700rpm and 8-10psi).

I have no problems with heat when towing as it stands, but want bigger injectors.....And have no problem with the need too gear down too maintain higher rpm's too keep boost up and temps down if needed. I only tow twice a year, and it is usually flat prairie land i tow in.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Hopefully Don will chime in!!

call up Don M at formula one diesel. He will give you some good advice. It's not so much injectors but what turbo did you go with? Also how hilly is the terrain your gonna be pulling?I think 150-200hp injectors is gonna be your limit probably 150 but if your running a 66 or bigger like I am or any bigger without twins you are in a whole different ball game, also how heavy loads?

I will running a silverbullet (66mm). I live in the prairies of canada....the equivalent of nebraska. Flat and straight. The trailer weighs 16K loaded, and is towed ONLY on the highway. No stopping and starting other then when I first get rollin, and when i stop her.

I would say flux 3.5's with my expierence But your turbo will be surging alot Trust me I've done it and with smaller injectors and a Silver bullet. You will love this charger It cools great and is not very laggy from what people say. Your problem is going to become the water temp getting to hot

Your gonna get hot with that 66 with 3.5's. A 66mm is not a friendly towing turbo at all. just from daily driving with no trailer I can pull 900 degrees untill that turbo lights which is a couple seconds and I have a schied cam to help it spool up. I would get more advice before you get that turbo with bigger injectors. a guy around here with industrial injection 125 horse sticks and aurora 5k had a very hard time pulling his bobcat around until he got twins.

like i said....I am wondering about the biggest injector that i could still tow with. I could care less if the thing is friendly.....for the 200 miles of towing I do in a year, it could jerk and shake everywhere. Just as long nothing gets too too hot, for those 200 miles, thats all i am really worried about. And if I can't go any bigger, then so be it. But I would like too hear from some injector guru's.

on the truck in my sig i towed with it probably that heavy with flux 3s and a 64 with smarty beta 4.4 sw 3 and it didn't get as hot as stock programs and boost fooling the truck was pretty smooth no surging to speak of and this is in hilly terrain in the applachian mountains some 9% grades about 1.3 miles long it would get about 1300 with smarty and 1450 without
