Injector size poll
Hello all. Ok as the title states, I am putting up a poll on what size of injectors everyone thinks I should put into my truck.
Here is what I have exactly:
Silverbullet
IIS Stage 2 CP3
Modded rail
Banks IC and High Ram
Fluiddampner
AFE Stage2
NX Express small shot
Head studs
Edge Hot Juice
Diablosport Predator (custom tune)
Dr Performance Predator
NADP Full Race Tranny
BD Top speed eliminator (with tq man delete)
ATS Co Pilot
I currently am running a custom set of 50+ DDP Injector nozzles.
I am thinking of going to 90-100, but what do you guys think?
I am probably going to a dual fueler setup this winter,, not sure about twins yet.
My goal is mid to low 11's
Thanks
Kevin

if you want to go fast and are going to have the dual pumps I would say go big. its not gonna be easy to get into the 11s. greyrig has done it along with bruce block. I know greyrig has big fluxes, dont know how big. not sure what block runs. I think JL machine. I would go with a nice size injector and not run the nos but thats just my .02

There are lots of trucks in the 11's now.. it seems that is getting old hat. lol. Cquestad, I never said that I wouldnt go with dons, but I am trying to get a feel for how big to go, the fluxs are rated in hp too. Im not really a believer in too big,,, but I could have my mind changed with the right convincing

Obviously CQ know more about this stuff than I do, but I agree. I would get at least 3s anyway. And I think you you have said before you have a chevy that you use for towing and stuff so why not go all out? Go big or go home.

x4 buddy! I'm gonna go with the 3.3's. I was gonna do 3.5's but I do tow alittle (not too heavy) I think that the 3.3's are the all around good choice for a daily driver with the proper mods and gauges to warn you of any impending doom. Maybe go 3.0's if you tow really heavy, but I think with your current set up that you will be able to clear at least a 3. Go for it!

This truck is only going to be used for racing,, and occasional street use,, no towing.....
With my 50's my smoke clears up allmost immediatly on launch,,, but during spool up it really smokes hard

I'd definatly go with at least a set of hundreds, but, I would really seriously consider the r&d as well as the time repairing and checking(just the good old fashioned CARE) that Donm puts into a set of his flux's regardless of the size. But my vote is at least hundreds.

I know of a truck with Flux 4's that just got 20+mpg hand calculated... Plus obscene amounts of power and 11 second fuel only runs. I think that tells me what to go with.
Go Flux or go home.
