Injector nozzle problem
One of my 90 HP injector nozzles is stuck open I think (rough idle & white smoke). Replaced it with another I had and took care of the problem. Where can I send the failed one to have it fixed? Better yet, can I fix it?

Winner winner chicken dinner!
well did you buy fully assembled injectors or just tips? If they were fully assembled I would send it back, if its just tips then you need to find someone to flow test and repair your injector.

I was told they can't rebuild the injectors for the crd's. I had to buy new bodies. my truck had 95,000 on it when the first one failed. had it replaced and at 100,000 another so I had them all sent out to a bench and all five wer returning 200% more than they should. Not Cheap for third gens. I had 3,200 in new bodies and nozzles.

Don M at F1 Diesel can fix your injectors. IIRC he charges something like $100 when you're getting performance tips from him...
Personally I'd rather have my sticks rebuilt, or have tips placed on my injector bodies than exchanging like some injector companies do. I'd hate to get some 150-200k bodies with new tips on them...

I would sure give Don M a crack at fixing them before I dropped the coin on new bodies. Do the math $1800 for the best nozzels out there AND your injector bodies put to right, or $3000+ for new bodies with the same old stock nozzels. I'm sure Don would tell you if the bodies are beyond repair and then you could ponder your options.
Brian WAY too many people have had Don M fix bad injector bodies for them to be unfixable.
