Injector noise normal???

I have noticed in the recent days that if I am running slow speed (35mph) or lower and hit it to the floor, downshift to first and get a enourmous amount of rattle for 2-3sec then goes away.

Is this normal, and I just am becomming more aware of simple noises, or is this a tell for something more???

Not making oil, injectors sound normal all other times even under WOT, just happens when sudden DS to first under WOT. I am currently running 16oz of 2-stroke oil every fillup, and ran a bottle of Seafoam about a month ago.

I don't know if it is good or bad but mine does it to. I just figured it was a slight timing rattle. Your truck hits 25.5k with rail pressure set at 3, thats pretty **** good. Are you sure someone didn't slip a modded cp3 in when you wern't looking????LOL

My buddy has the same issue. We noticed it the other day. Actually did it less on tm3 than 4. A tad too much duration at the time of throttle, then went away. Not sure if it has long term issues.

Might try timing 3, and see if it helps. Probably going to go back to default settings and work up to current settings to see what brings the rattle on.

My truck does it also.I usually run timing 3,RP 2, tg 2 and level3 for DD.I'm not sure if its timing rattle or from the quick rise in pressure.I feel safe in saying its normal. The more I have done to the truck the more little strange noises I hear.Don't know if they where there before the bombing or I'm just getting more paranoid with each mod LOL!

It's probably the high RP setting you're using. Try default RP and see if it goes away or is quieter.

From my experience the Smarty RP settings don't increase the max pressure, they only ramp the pressure up faster. The faster ramp might be causing some of the rattle you're hearing.
