injection pump ???
so ive got an 04 QC CTD with the automatic. i was on the site reading some posts about the injection pumps leaking because of spikes in fuel pressure due to tuners. i recently had an 05 in the shop with the pump leaking and i couldnt give the customer a good explanation to why it was, but reading those posts explained it to me. my main question is on my 04 ive got the banks bullet which on its highest setting only increases fuel pressure 30%, is that enough to make my inj. pump begin to leak over time? ive had the bullet on for about a year and 10K miles and no leaks yet but i dont want to make the pump leak. the amount of power it makes VS. that amount of money it costs for a new pump is not worth it.

It's not the pressure spikes. Folks with stock trucks have had this issue. It was due to a bad batch of seals from what I remember. My truck had one and it was all stock at the time. It started leaking at 22,000 miles and was replaced. Also, folks in colder climates have alot more trouble with the seal. You can buy oversize seals on it and rebuild it yourself. Use the search function, there was a thread on it.
