How many of you bashing the pro comps have actually run the tires in question? I never liked anything pro comp till i got these Extreme A/T's. Now granted mine are not the size in question but they are the right tire. I absolutely love these tires. Ive had them in mud, ice, and now sand (just got back from a 1300+/- mile trip to Daytona beach and back) and they have performed flawlessly. They clean well in mud with a little wheel spin, they did well in ice and snow when i encountered it and never missed a beat in the sand. I now have almost 17k miles on them and they look like they still have 75-80% left. They ride smooth and are quiet. They are without question the best all around tire ive run and ive had bfg's, swampers, ground hawgs and now pro comps (not all on this truck but between this one and my 98 3/4ton). Oh and to answer your question, go 13.5. Mine are 12.5 and i'll go to the 13.5 next time around. Let me say again, THESE TIRES ARE FANTASTIC.

Sorry to hijack, but no point in starting another thread. How would you guys compare the pro-comp ATs to the BFG ATs in the 35X12.5 size?

I have a set of the Pro-Comp X-AT's,... I won't buy another set when these ones are gone, they are really loud IMHO and wear funny (only 6k miles) I bought them cause they are E-rated but I put my BFG AT's back on the truck for the moment, I guess I'll try them again in the winter and see how they do on the ice...

True, it just seems that the original poster got scared because everyone was bashing procomp. Cquested, Cowhand, and myself that i know of are all running these tires with nothing but praise. I just wanted the OP to know that these tires are excellent. I plan to run the 37x13.5r18 on some black KMC Diesel's when these wear out.

Im sorry you had issues but you're the first ive seen to dislike the X-AT's. Mine are not loud at all. Maybe slightly moreso than the BFG's but those dont make any noise at all.
