Increase line pressure

Is it ok to go to any old tranny shop and have them up the line pressure? Wouldnt that alone handle much more power over the stock line pressure? Thats how the torque shift handle the sct with no upgraded tranny? THANKS

see BD Power.com for their pressure loc kit. Its not a good idea to raise line pressure. Check with BD Power for details.

Depends on the truck you have. Fill out your sig.

A little pressure will help a lot some times. Too much will kill the stock trans in a hurry. What year if truck makes a difference in how much you have to do to increase the pressure.

What?????
Everyone on this forum that has aftermaket tranny work has increased line pressure. That is part of what goes on with a new valve body. Increasing the pressure increases the holding power of the internal clutches, as well as the TC clutches.
