Do not get one of those SRT hoods, too many trucks have them. Be different, get something else. Maybe one of those humming bird, stumble bee, what ever it is called, hood scoops. Costs about the same.

My choice is the SRT hood. If I had any good pic's of my truck's I would post them. I had one on my old '04 and kept it when I traded for the '06.

There aren't many HD trucks with them. Maybe there are a lot here on these boards but not out there in the real world.....

I plan on the SRT-10 hood someday. I live in a town of 1500 and already have the baddest truck in town! LOL

There's a lot of hoods out there to be had. Not many aftermarket are metal though like the OEM SRT hood. Most are fiberglass which personally I didn't care for.

They aren't real cheap. You can get one from here with your OEM paint shipped to your door... their prices have gone up a couple hundred bucks since I bought mine from them. Guess they saw their popularity and are trying to cash in. You can also check ebay for them.

I found a used one cheap. New you are probably looking at $1100-$1200 by the time you get it painted...

yeah but, by the time it's shipped to you and painted, you're looking at the $1200 mentioned. I guess you could save a little by having your local dealer get it and you pick it up but, the paint will still cost you $300 to $500. It's a large area to paint and if not done right will look like crap.
