ideal tire size for dyno
Hey All!
Thinkin of dynoing an 05 quad cab. What is the ideal tire size and so forth for the dyno. Choice of mustang 250 (local guy) or a dyno jet 424 (farther away)

i have tried 3 tire sizes same day on the same dyno, aand found no power loses, now real big tires and it might be a different story...
once again a good tq motor will not have power differences

Isn't the goal of the dyno to measure how your truck is running? Run the size your gonna be drivin with. Otherwise when you add new toys and check it again you won't know your real gains.

I just want to get a true read out on the drivetrain, the track will show me the rest. I guess realisticly dyno is a decent reference but more for braggin rights. Problem is its running 315's and think its going to 285 or 305 in the future
