Nitto Grapplers
BFgoodrich ATs
BFgoodrich MTs ....Before.

My next set will be the Pirelli or the Armor.
Hope this helps!

Note: Pics in my gallery of my former 4.5 truck with 35s on 20s.
20s looked good but 18 look better on my 06... to me.

Those would be ok, but I have 17" wheels! I think the mud grappler looks really cool! Im just not sure what the heck to get??

Is there a good mud tire, like the procomp xterrain or sometihng that I should go with?? I want something mean looking, but I drive a bunch of hwy, and street ! Actually, thats almost all they will be for, but still want something tough looking!

I like the mud grappler. They are different than most others. I've heard good things about load rating and wear. Thats what I'd get.

Bosshogg,

What color are you going with on your rims? I'm putting a charcoal grey on my black MegaCab.

I was seriously looking at the Pro Comp Extreme AT's also, but the 35's are only rated at 3000 lbs.

Tops on my list right now are the Toyo 325/70-17 AT. I know they are a bit boring but they have a higher load rating (3305 lbs at 50 p.s.i.) than most.

The new Nitto Dune Grappler is interesting, and will be available in 315/70-17 (3195 lbs at 50 p.s.i.) soon.

I sure would like to see a 35x17 with a 3500 lb load rating at 65 p.s.i.I'd be more comfortable pulling a large load with a tire like that. Oh well, I may have to stay with a 33" tire.

Dang, nobody does any pimp'n around here or what?!!

I did find a that they make a bfg in the 35x12.5, it wasnt listed on there charts. If I had my first choice for looks it would be the Nitto Mud grappler, but I dont think I will run them cause I put alot of miles on the hwy. The Xterrains are a close second, but they are really high$$. I dont know if many have tried looking, but the 35x12.5x17's arent as common as I thought! Alot of the tires I keep looking at dont list or make that size, they might have everything else, but not many have this size. I dont know, ive been calling around and looking on the internet the past few days, and Im having some trouble finding something I want in the right size! Im just trying to avoid going BFG for the 5th time in my life!

I guess I never asked, only assumed, but a 35x12.5 will fit with my 2" leveling kit right with my H2's? I am pretty positive it will, but I guess I better ask!

Did you tell them All Terrain? They do have a 35x12.50-17 Mud Terrain.

Pimp

I would stay away from the pro comp's! Just a personal opinion I had a set of mud-terrain's and they didn't last me 30,000 and a lot of my driving is highway. I drive up to 200 miles a day towing a 32 foot enclosed trailer for work. If at all possible I would go with the toyo's I have 15,000 on mine now and they still look brand new and I have only rotated them twice. I am very impressed. The pro-comp's started to cup and go bad very fast and I rotated them every 3000 miles. I don't know how the x-terrain's will work out but good luck. I think if I can't get toyos my next tire will be the nitto mud grapplers..
