I need to borrow someone's tires in Northern VA!
Weird request I know, but like the title says I need to borrow someone's tires/wheels for a little bit. I am located in Northern VA. The reason I need to swap tires/wheels for 30 minutes or so is to check if my tires are the cause of my vibration or not. So basically I just need to install a good, balanced set of tires, take the truck out on the highway, and from there I should be able to tell if my tires need replaced or not. This will probably take less than an hour total. Or even better yet, if someone has a set of stock tires laying around I can borrow for an hour or so, that is even easier. Let me know if you or someone you know has what I'm looking for. A many thanks to any who can help me out!!

Darn.... and I was about to PM you too since I know you like to change tires a lot. But with the new dually I guess you got rid of your collection?

why don't you just put the truck up on jackstands and take the tires off ...
run it up to vibe speed see if the vibe goes away ...
you can do it in 2wd then 4wd if you still have the vibe and it would let you know if its front or rear drivetrain ... assuming it's not the tires

Maybe a quick roll/stop(removing the rear drums trick on 2gens), but as far as bringing it up to 50-60mph on jackstands, youre asking for trouble....
