Not anymore on the tranny part. Just installed a built Goerend stage 4 on Wendsday. MOrkable, I just run everything wide open on the settings. I just set the Edge low boost fueling to level 1 when stacked with the BDPP to keep rail pressure from bleeding off too fast at the end of track.

Great job SS. Cant wait to see some times when you get some racing rubber and something to cure the top speed thing. Wow I just saw you had a sps62.... Thats a great time for one of thoes. I just may go with a 62 after all.
Way to go!!!

Thanks guys. I just have the regular Phat Shaft. Not the Super Phat. Have the boost set at 52#.
It's hard to describe the launch. I't just 2nd nature to me. Dave set the tranny up to not lock in 1st gear with the manual tc switch. So I roll to the stage, clean off the tires spin 'um up a sec or 2 only. At the lights, I just rev to 1600rpm (about 10psi. I think), flip the tc switck on. On green I let the truck roll at that rpm for about 10ft. then hammer it. Sometimes it slips the tires sometimes not. On a good track with plenty of traffic to keep it warm, i have no problems.
Now for better consistancy like when I braket raced a couple weeks ago I roll into it about half throttle a little softer after the 1st 10ft. then I punch it instead of just stabbing it right at the gate.

I am motivated to keep on keeping on with my 2WD. I love my truck and do not need 4WD. Hell if I can find one, I want to drop my truck into the weeds, put some 22's with some wide street tires and have some fun.

I think REB B, from Brown's diesel perf in the Fresno area is down in the 11's with his 03 2wd QC...... He was down at the track when we were running our AA GAS Camaro.
