I guess it's time to send the Juice back for a flash!

Well I've been running my Edge Juice w/ Attitude for about 6 months now. I have had ZERO problems with it until a couple weeks ago. While I was towing (on level 2) my Jeep up to PA I got several hiccups, and a P2149 code. Checked all the connectors and everything was tight. After a couple run cycles the CEL went away. I drove around up there unloaded for a day and never had a problem, all the way up to level 4 (my "daily driving" level). Hooked the trailer back up, and it hiccuped a couple more times on me. Same code. Turned off the Juice and didn't have any more problems. I've been driving around for the past couple weeks unloaded on level 4 with no problems. Now yesterday I was coming back from the store (unloaded) and hiccup! Pulled the code, P2146. I wasn't too happy but I sort of ignored it. It only happened once. Well today I'm leaving work and I get SEVERAL hiccups and the truck seemed to lose a lot of power, so I turned the Juice off again. Pulled the codes when I got home and now I have three:

P0237: Turbocharger Boost Pressure Sensor Low
P2146: Fuel Injector Group 1 Supply Voltage Circuit
P2149: Fuel Injector Group 2 Supply Voltage Circuit

This has GOT to be caused by the Juice. I noticed I still have version 1.0 (I got the Juice used) so I guess it is time to send the Juice back to Edge for an upgrade. Might as well get them to upgrade her to the HOT Juice while they're at it. BTW, anyone know if the upgrade really is free for TDR members? [EDIT]I justed noticed that it was a promotion that ended Jun15th! Darn![/EDIT]. Hopefully the flash will fix this issue, because I like the Juice for the time being, until I can put some more $$$ into "hard" upgrades.

OK, I guess my little rant is done for now....

I was getting the same codes. My truck actually died on me a couple of times until I took out my Juice with attitude. I had it updated and I got the free hot upgrade for being a TDR member! Must have been one of the last. I just put it back in tonight and have not driven my truck at all to see if all is well now.

You know, I have been looking at the Triple Dog and it DOES look sweet. With the way it can be upgraded online easily via the USB cable is awesome. But then I'd need some new gauges.... maybe in the near future I'll sell this Juice and get myself some mechanical gauges and another chip. Gotta upgrade the fuel supply system first though!

I got the same codes that you listed on my truck too. However, my lift pump did go out shortly after the codes appeared. How can you tell which version of the juice that you have and how much is it for an upgrade?

I have been getting the 2146 and 2149 codes for about 1 year. I would only get those codes when I was towing or working the engine hard. Still got the original lift pump. The upgrade to the hot version cost $100 US Dollars. The version of the juice you have is printed on the side of the juice module.

You can tell the version by looking at the end of the actual juice box right near the wires it will have a sticker that says the version.
I had juice/a2 flashed with hot upgrade. it is pretty radical. Now i am venturing into upgrading the fuel system
i already have the full tilt dtt trans
(you will need a trans to hold up to the power)
my upgrade was free with my tdr membership

The Attitude monitor also displays the software version when the unit starts up. Mine says "v1.0" when I turn on the truck.

I'm also having some weird issues now with the box. The little menu indicator "dot" will disappear sometimes, and the screen will just turn off sometimes. The box is still working because the truck runs, but the display won't turn back on until I power off the box and restart it (i.e. turn off the truck, then back on). I definately think something is wrong with the Edge box itself. I'm hoping a software flash will fix these issues.

My Juice i received from Edge last month is version 2.1.

I am on my second A2 monitor and its also messed up. Spent a while on the phone with Edge...i was told to return it since Edge won't have a fix til late July and I won't be a beta tester. Edge has good honest people....pillar gauges with the triple dog...this week!

If you are having problems with your juice, call Edge and they will give you a RMA # and they will update your juice for free. I was not very clear on the "update" costing $100 bucks. The $100 dollars is for the Hot upgrade, not just a plain old version upgrade.

genros- i have the most recent A2 version...but its moody and works when it wants to and doesn't when it doesn't want to...Edge acknowledged the problem and said a fix wouldn't be available til late july early august....or i could beta test for them. this is my second A2 in a month...not going to #3.

OK, sweet. Edge is cross-shipping me a new one in the mail today. All new Juice and Attitude with a return label for the old stuff. I guess my email got lost, because in less than 10 minutes on the phone the dude had me fixed up. Gotta love Edge's Customer Service. This is good-job #2 for them!
