The current lift pump on your truck is located on the back of the filter housing. It is marginal with stock fueling. It's function is to supply the CP3's internal pump with fuel so the injection side of the CP3 will have enough fuel to supply the rail which feeds the injectors. Basically the stock pump runs out of PSI and will cause the fuel supply to "dry up". An aftermarket pump will replace it and provide enough cool fuel to keep any mods happy. Do a search on FASS and Walbro for more info.

I don't care if it has a rocket engine in it, it's still humiliating to lose to a neon...it's a neon! LOL. Again, even if it had a rocket engine, I would not drive a neon. Bosshog, I guess your only redemption would be round 2 - hook up a chain to the neon and see who can pull who across the parking lot... 2wd to be fair ...fair...lol

i remember reading a scc or other tuner mag when the srt-4 first came out.. they did some dyno runs on them, and they were putting to the wheels more hp than the factory engine rating was...

He He!!
The SRT4 is probably the best sports car that has came out of Detroit in the last 6 years. I have Road Raced in my first SRT 03 model and even without the LSD smoked Vipers in the turns. The straights were brutal when not modded but the turns were like taking candy from a baby. Now once the power went from 230 to the wheels, to 385 to the wheels that was a different story. The big Vipers were getting smoked by Myself and others alike. I'm waiting on the new Caliber SRT4 to see just how bad they really are------but I will probably go for the Challenger since DCX has made it official that they are coming out as 08 model year cars!!!!! - - - - I can see the post now (Got slapped in the face then made fun of by this thing called a Challenger) ---------Good Times

425HP 420tq all through a 6speed Manual out of the Dodge Viper. The car will be 3 inches shorter than the concept on teh new LY Platform. Take a look at Edmunds.com- - - -then go to Fast Lane on the top far right hand of the page. Go to Videos and you will see one for the Dodge Challenger!!!!! I personally cant wait!!
