Talking I am fixing to get an attitude!

I have got my edge chip w/attitude ordered, will be here in the next day or so. Any suggestions or comments on what some of you think about the performance gains or the fuel mileage that I can expect?

Got mine ordered as well. If I can get a 2 mpg increase like StrokeThisCTD that would be super. I'm hoping for at least a 1mpg increase on the low setting. I drive like a granny and tow a lot so I'am looking for milage rather than burning the tires off. But it's nice to know it's there if I need it!!!

Proms: Awesome power, easy install (careful with you tapping)

Cons: Engine noise change (louder and uneven) plus an extra weir noise (hard to explain) between some different rpm. Called edge, they said is normal.

I can confirm 1.5-2 MPG Gain. Mine has been 1.85 mpg, hand calc, 90% in town.

My experience is that once my engine comes up to operating temps and the Juice starts to take over engine management, my engine smooths out just a bit.

I'm lovin it!

Juice

I didn't have weird sounds and such. The Juice is programmed that you won't get the power until your at operating temp of 180* which keeps you from hammering a cold truck. Power is very good and some of the dyno posts I've seen indicate that the 100HP is understated a bit. Probably 20HP, which was how the Juice was originally rated. Nice unit,..smooth.

The power is actually progressive and starts at OT of 140 degrees (25% of available increase)and is at 100% above 180 degrees.

If you are looking for mileage increase, make sure you adjust the low fuel boost down. I have been getting 17.7 -18.2 on interstate driving 74-76 mph (empty bed) for 3 days (1200 miles). I haven't done any serious city driving to see if there is any help there, but my highway miles have gone up a little. (+.5-1mpg's). I will say that even on setting 1, there is a noticeable increase in passing power.

The hard part about checking city mileage, is that I always want to run it in level 3/4 and see what it can do!!!

I get more "clatter" as the auto shifts gears or as the engine unloads than I got stock, but I am sure that is normal due to the timing difference.

Have fun!! It does increase mileage as long as you don't touch that up arrow button!!!

You have wires to tap with the Juice? I was hoping it was just plug and play...

You have to drill/tap the exhaust manifold for EGT guage on attitude. Other than that it is completely plug and play. Installation took about 20 minutes. I had the store I bought it from install EGT sensor.

I am also planning on getting the Juice/Attitude as soon as Uncle Sam delivers my refund. Also getting the exhaust opened up. Just curious....what are you folks having to pay for the Juice w/ Attitude. Local muffler shop here is selling me one for $800. Is that fair?
Thanks
David

I just want to confirm before I get too excited that the Juice's ARE out for the 2003 and early 04's, is this correct?

Secondly, the Juice does timming and duration, is there any pressure involved?

I hope this is the end of the wait, I may have a Pup up for sale soon if it is!

Timing and Duration Only

I don't know about availability for 03-04. The ad on this homepage is listing it. You might inquire with them.

The Juice is timing and duration only.
