The fact that they`re inexpensive , look pretty good , and have the perfect amt. of backspacing (esp. when running 35-37 in tires)is why they are soo popular .

Center Caps
[QUOTE=jamesbfishin;2326874]Sorry for the bad lighting, 08 H2's
Were you able to get the stock center caps to fit on the 08 H2's?
Anyone out there with a photo of the 08's with Dodge center caps?

... some people like big wheels and low profile tires that stick out of the fenders 3".
H2's look a little different and the offset means the tires don't rub the control arms yet the tires don't stick way out either.

Never tried the stock caps on the 08's, but I'm pretty sure they need to modded.
Check out the post by Raspy on the previous page, he has the same setup as mine but with the stock caps too.

I snagged a set of 4 wheels off an 05 from a guy for 200 bucks so for some nice looking wheels and a little bit of work I would say that they are definitely worth the time, I just need one more for the spare.

I will be busting the set up I currently have on now so I can keep one as a spare. I just got my second set with the nubs still on the tires from a limo company. So keep your eyes on the classifieds.

Like mentioned the H2 wheels have an excellent backspacing for installing bigger tires on the Dodge Rams.
Bigger tires on factory Dodge wheels often rub on unlifted trucks.
Most of the aftermarket wheels have too little back spacing and bigger tires hang out of the bodywork waaay too much.
To have wheels custom made with correct backspacing is $$$$ so the H2 wheel is an excellent, affordable option.
They look great and you can use a 35" tire without any type of lift.
I could care less who makes them.
On installing the stock Ram center caps, I just added extra lug nuts on top of the stock ones on the wheels and slightly bent the mounting tabs/fingers in on the center cap and they fit perfect and tight, the caps haven't moved or fallen off in 20k plus miles on my truck.

Hey, you all have had this question asked so many time that it pains you to hear it again. I have an opportunity to pick up some H1 tires 5 for $500. They are good year wranglers 36' I have done some research with pro's and con's. I know about the back spacing and the fact they are bias ply, but i did see some on a 3500, dodge and they where sick! What would i have to do to have them on my 2006 dodge 2500 diesel, or should i even bother? Any suggestion would help.

I wouldnt bother, i put a set of h1 rims on a 99 and they rubbed pretty good on the control arms. plus i honestly think you can get a better deal price wise. those 36s are old the military hasnt used them in a couple of years. JMO

Thanks' for the tip. My red neck side say's buy the tires and get a rifle rack, but the practical side says listen to the people who been there done that. Is there a good tire pkg, that you would recommend? In Canada it's hard to find good and affordable truck mods. I have been looking into rickson tires from the states and they are practical, but very functional. Downside is, they will cost me $4000 usd.
