HTT 64/13ss....who has one? Opinions?
I considering this new "advanced" (they say) turbo, with my SIG, which size should I consider? With both boxes on, Smarty at #9 all the time and I add the X2 (fuel only) if needed, can see 1450* at WOT. I still want quick spool and lowend response.
I drive my truck daily, sales calls mostly, very little towing, except we own an 11,000# fifth-wheel. RV twice a year if lucky. Opinions please, thanks.

The 64 might be a little laggy without some aftermarket sticks with an auto.I have the 62 and could light it very good with flux1's,but with a straight drive.I would consider the 62 for what you are looking for.Everybody has there on opinion on what is "laggy". The 62/71/13ss is definitely slower to spool than the 62/65/12 I ran for a year. The 64 will be even slower.

I have the 62-71 and I like it, with enough fuel from the smarty it spools good enough to tow IMO. If you want quickest spool as possible I'd opt for the 62/65-13.

I had one and it was the edit. I towed, sled-pulled Dynoed and drove the fam to Church on sundays. I loved it But I have a 6-speed. Auto's have a little harder time spooling. I would get the 62/71/13 Just IMO

I have the 64/13/71 and do not think it is laggy at all. But with the auto you have it will be a tad laggier for you. I have towed 8k with it and it pulled just fine.

I second Christian. Dad has a 63/65/13ss on his 06 with a very tight Goerend TC and it still spools great. He has stock sticks and runs Smarty and/or Juice. I was a little worried about spool, but I can't tell any difference from stock to be honest. No power breaking, and it will light the rears from a stop - still on 265s.

Good choice. I put one of those in my truck about a month ago, & it spools good, & it's hard to get EGT's over 1300* even whith my camper on. You'll like it.
