Question htt 62/65/12??? need help

will this 62/65/12 be a good turbo for me or no
i plan on maybe getting smarty sr.
when my trans is finished, will i be able to run the smarty or will it be to hot

i do tow but i go to the track to

If you stay with your current mods +the smarty you'll have a great runnin truck. Aftermarket stix will get a little toasty but doable. I'd get the 13cm SS housing if you have the ability.

If you just go with a Smarty that setup will be good, but if any upgrades are in line might wanna go with a 14cm housing or a 62/71 exhaust turbine

i just bought a house and don't plan on putting much more money in the truck but many have said that before

I'd say a solid 450-500-hp with a 13cm Exaust housing With a good LP

I'm curious if anyone is running this turbo at elevation? I live at 5000 ft and drive between 5000 and 7500.

How does spool up compare to stock?

I'm not sure if there is a good single turbo for elevation? Ball bearing Garrett?

Are twins the only way to go?

I live at the 5000 also and been looking for a good turbo. I starting to think a set of twins will be the only way to go

A 62/65/13SS Will work quite well at higher elevation
