How would smoked tail lights look on my truck?

I like the smoked recon lights but I'm not sure they will look right on a red truck. I was looking at the tail lights and the third brake light. Anybody have pictures of the smoked recons on a red truck? Here's a picture of my truck

I don't know about smoked... I bet the clear ones that have the chrome inside would set it off...

That's a sharp truck, BTW...

Your truck has alot of chrome so I don't think the smoked lights would look good. Now if your wanting to go black then its a good start.I started with chrome and have now gone the black route.I like it much better. You got a nice truck no matter what you decide to do!

Becarful with the recons I had to shim mine about an 1/2 inch to get them to stay in the guide holes....I think the crome would look better on your truck any way..

I've got the Depo black LED's and they have been great. Two years and no problems. Also all the LEDs are still working, plus their brighter then standard filament bulbs.

I took a look at the clear LED's from Recon. They look sharp, I want the truck to be different, just dont want it to look to like a riceburner. Anybody have any pics of the clear LED's on a red truck? Townsend do you have a website for the Depo LED's?

IMO I like the Red Leds and think it would look clean. Your truck is simple and clean, I would keep it that way, the extra chrome in the rear might get to flashy.

Ditto, I'd keep the rears red, if anything maybe those chrome tail light guards for a little accenting. Deffinatly wouldnt go with chrome or black lights though.

IMO either would look great, also do some looking on ebay, you will find led taillights there that will be much less than the recons (50%) and are virtually the same light. I have had my ebay tails for well over a yr now and they have been great!

here are the lights I have.

I think the black would look good. Either black, red, or smoked, chrome tail lights would be too much.

Got me curious now, but I'm at work. The site is gorecon.com. I'll check on ebay and see what they have probably just go with the red leds.
