Talking how to spend $5000?

hi, i have a bone stock! 2006 Ram 2500 quad cab short bed 4x4 and i will be getting $5000 within the next month or so(its great! ). As I'm sure any of you would do, I want to spend it on my truck. Problem is I don't know where to start.I don't know which are the best products. Any advice would be great. Thanx in advance. :-D

P.S. (I like the usual: lots power, smoke, and sound, and maybe better MPG)(i don't do much towing in my life just an avg sized boat occasionally)
What is the Best...
intake? exhaust? module? trans mod? fuel pump? gauge? blow off valve?...etc.

You don't say if you have an automatic tranny or not.

I suggest a full set of gauges, an AFE Stage 2 Air Intake, and exhaust upgrades.

Then save the rest to go toward a full Billet DTT Trans if it is automatic. If it's a manual then get an upgraded clutch.

Then later on.........after the trans upgrades.......upgrade the turbo and lift pump, add a TST pmcr, mild pressure box, and maybe injectors.

Pretty much what he said. Gauges, exhaust, intake: then a built automatic/or upgraded clutch (depending on which you have)

That will take your $5K right there (if you have an auto), you will have some left over if you have a stick:

Then programmer/turbo/injectors.

You could always go the gauges/exhaust/intake/programmer route, and send the rest of the $$$$$$$$$$ to ME

My change here would be to go with a TST or similer with built in gauges. Gives a good upgrade path.

100+ RW HP or so
Power,
• TST CR, $xxx, Includes Gauges.
• Swiss Cheese air box, free
• High flow filter $xx
• Muffler, $xx-$xxx
Tranny,
• If you are good, you should be fine for a while. Yes hard to do $0. I have a 6 speed so this influences my statement here.
• Torque converter $xxxx
• Controller $xxx
VB, $xxx
Suspension
• Leveling kit, $xx
• Shocks $xxx
Looks,
• New Tires, $xxxx
Total, ~$5K with Tranny stuff
Total, ~$3K, no Tranny, “just take it easy” LOL
Then add taxes and install it all your self.

I just added up my stuff and forgot how much went into it till now.

Auto tranny would be my first thing (if you have one)... its the weakest link in the truck. Then a crazy larry or edge hot juice...or tst

No, 50% of a Wide Glide.

Seriously though, pretty much everything has been covered except that pressure boxes (Edge EZ, etc) are eventually death on the injectors of a Common Rail engine. How long they live depends how much pressure you run through it. 1 thing I haven't seen mentioned yet though is a FASS set up, to make sure you don't run out of fuel with all that power.

Spend most of it on beer and women, then just waste the rest.
