I wouldn't be running pressure while your towing man honestly. The Smarty JR will be plenty safer alone for a tow. I'm not sure about your settings because I never adapted to the new REVO type programming. I'm still olds skool.
But if you absolutely insist on it, I wouldn't go past a quarter turn on the **** of the mp-8, about in the 9 o'clock (30% est.) position would be my max.
As far as installation collaboration, just put the MP-8 on by using the designated plugs and power wire, and set your programming on the smarty. The Smarty programming will have the added benefits of quicker and higher rail pressures with the MP-8 added in equation. This could be good and bad, so use caution turning the pressure up for extended periods. PM if you have any other questions.

the MP-8 is already installed,,, I was planning on backing it off to the stock setting and installing the smarty jr,,, then trying a few settings in the lower end of the spectrum with the smarty alone then ease the pressure up a tad with the MP-8??? was wanting to see if anyone else had tried it or had some reccomended settings to start off with like torque 2 etc. etc.??????

I say MP-8 100%, smarty on level 4 ...
I don't think anyone can really tell you what power level to run, kind of like asking what tire pressure to run without mentioning loads putting on them...
What kind of condition and miles are on your clutch? How do you typically drive (race at every stop light, or let grandpas pass you)... Just way to many verables involved...
I don't have the JR, but here is what I do (with my stock auto)... run the smarty at middle level with stock TQ management (you still have the HP bump it just doesn't come on so hard down low and cook the tranny or clutch), and then just use the MP-8 when you need it, but becareful not to slip the clutch.

I run MP8/Jr. stack. With both maxed out, I can slip the stock clutch in 5th and 6th... Thats if I lug the motor, once the boost comes on it slips bad. If I shift at 3000 I dont notice it slipping. Thats when my truck is empty. I dont tow with pressure. I normally leave the Jr on sw3 and use the MP8;s **** to play or fine tune.
