how much nitrous can a modded cummins 2003 handle

now before we get into this, i am finding some info out for a buddy that is not handy with the keyboard

he has an 03 dodge, with 130over injectors, fuel mod done from the tank to the CP3(will sustain 9lbs on Wot), a special NADP 61m turbo(will spike47psi), afe intake and 4" exhaust, powershot 2000 propane system, he runs the predator130, nadp 120 and some other tunes (not sure), no head studs or oring head

he runs a best of 12.6 at the track, with a 8 second 1/8 mile, but then feels defuel to the finish, running the 315 pro comp tires

he seams to have a slight smoke Haze down the track

we will be dynoing soon and now being new to nitrous he is not to sure what jet sises he will need, his setup consists of a single stage -6an line from the bottle to the solenoid

thanks for any info with this

as for my duramax we would start with a .030 and work up till the smoke clears, is this the same for the cummins or can someone save us some time

JESS: he does have the rev problem, but was hopping the dealer was gonna get rid of that if they could, just mentioned that the other day

as for the rad(i am not sure what you are asking)?

then for jet sises, we will start low and work up, Jess the boys from bully-dog are sending us a special box that they say will be a contender, have you tried theirs out? or any other ideas for big numbers

have you used WI on your cummins yet, can WI and nitrous be used together, i know it cannot with the max?

thanks agin for the help JESS

I ran a 160 shot but found the lines and solenoid to be the limiting factor. This was on the nitrous kit out of Summit. Never had any problems.

I run about 58 lbs of boost with my twins, and I'm now running .066 worth of N20. I have studs, and so far it hasn't lifted the head off. As long as your bring it in smoothly it shouldn't be too hard on the motor. FWIW I gain about 80 hp running this jetting.
