How much is my stock cat hurting my EGTs
Well I know my stock turbo is maxed out, but I want to see how fast I can go with it. I just put a MP8 on the truck and now my EGTs are getting up to the 1400 range on Extreme, and I would like to get those down a bit so I can try Crazy Larry out cause I know it will be really hot then.
How much does the stock cat effect egts?
I'm thinking the cat will have to fall off soon, and I'm looking at a grid heater delete, and cfm intake horn. All in hopes of lowering egts.
Am I on the right track?

I'm not exactly sure but I would say the cat off would help more than the grid heater delete, and intake horn...only reason is its still the stock turbo. Change that turbo out along with those upgrades and you'll see a big dif in nearly everything. But if you plan on doin a turbo at some point, do the heater, horn and cat now...it'll all help, the cat the most though. If still hot look up a water meth setup. Can buy one for fairly cheap.
