My elbow is not adjustable. I bought the turbo for the 03 I used to own. Do I need to get an adjustable elbow for the 07????
I just went to their website and every picture they show has a non-adjustable elbow. Is there any way to test the wastegate to see if it is working properly?

Well, I think I'm pulling the turbo off this weekend and throwing the stock one back on for now. I'm having an issue where it sounds like I have an exhaust leak but it only happens when the truck is under load and making boost. It will not do it sitting in the driveway at 3000 rpms but as soon as I drive down the road it does it. I don't want to spend $100 taking it to the dealer just to have them tell me it's the turbo so I'm gonna eliminate it as a possibility. If the noise stops then I will ship the turbo off to High Tech to be tested.
Now, Once I do this I'm trying to decide if I should leave it in it's current 62/12 configuration or upgrade it to maybe a 62/14. What is the best size turbo for a slightly modified truck? The 62/12 works fine but it seems everybody is getting the 62/14s or larger....

Have you tried unplugging the wastegate hose and take it for a spin? Just put a temporary plug on the boost elbow.
Could also mean that the Quad box doesn't deliver enough fuel to spin the larger turbo to it's full potential.

I haven't tried that yet but I was thinking about it before pulling the turbo. I did look up under there yesterday and noticed a bit of dirty oil residue around where the elbow goes into the turbo...... I think I will do it tomorrow morning and see what happens.....
I'm thinking the same thing, that the Quad isn't giving enough fuel. The truck runs great otherwise and I'm not racing it, so I don't know why I'm even worried about it......

----- Because #1 DodgeZilla------- You still have the Power Bug------- It will never go away and with the HELP from #2 DodgeZilla---you can forget about it !!!
I think that you have a Turbo issue AND a Fueling issue. Have you checked your oil to make sure that there is no Fuel in it???????
