How long until timing becomes a problem??
As the title says, how long until too much timing takes its toll? If you stack say a SMARTY (with timing), and either a Quad and or TST, when would you know that the damage has been done? Is death by timing a long, slow death or quick and painfull.......????

First off, a TST alone will likely do damage to your '07. They no longer sell them for '06.5+ trucks.
As for how long it takes to do damage with too much timing, that's pretty hard to say. It would depend on a lot of things like exactly how much timing and what you're doing with the truck. I think towing with too much timing will kill it sooner than regular driving. From the stories I've read it doesn't seem to take too long for the damage to be done.
Why...have you been stacking the Smarty on odd numbers and the Quad with timing?

I am asking because I have started to run my SMARTY with the stock sw instead of the Aftermarket Injectors sw. I was running the Aft Inj. to reduce timing rattle, but I loose too much low end like that. So I am running the standard sw but now have timing rattle, and was wondering if this is bad, how long until I know???
Right now I am running the SMARTY on SW#3 and the Quad on the pressure only std tune....
