How to on the dyno???
I have never done a dyno pull before nor have i seen it done. How do i do it once i get on the dyno. Surprisingly as it might be to you guys, i have only had this truck since august and its my first diesel truck. Everything i have learned and done to the truck has been thanks to these forums.
So what do i do once its on there. leave it in overdrive? i have a lock up switch, should i use it? what do i do??

Some will depend on the type of dyno, inertia, load, etc.
On a DynoJet type I leave it in normal D with OD. Roll up to OD and TC Lockup around 60-65mph then start pull. From that 60-65mph roll into it hard until redline. If the dyno operator can apply drum brake before pull it will help load engine and improve spool up.
On load type dyno a lot will depend on how the operator configures the dyno and the operator should know the best dyno procedure.
