How do remove the stock grille surround?
Got a new billet grille that require removal of the grille surround from the vehicle. I have removed all the little nuts and bolts and left the supports on.
Question is how do I remove the chrome surround from the hood?
Thanks in advance.

All you have to do is pull all the little bolts out that hold it to those supports and it should pop right off. I did mine the day after I bought my truck. Came right off. You will also have to pull the hood latch off...

I've removed all the bolts I can see, the hood release, and everything else I can see. Hmmmmmm, guess I will take another look at it.

I will be following this thread. Also, does anyone know where to get another grill surround? My chrome one has had a scratch in it for a while now, due to my own fault, and the only way to fix it is to get a new surround.

Thats what i did to install the mopar chrome/sport grille, loosen all the small bolts off of that black frame work that holds it and it should pull off with not much force and the factory grille unclips out & clip the new ones in, very easy switch. I put one on my 05 & 06 i think they look classy

Got it! Seems the top of the grille surround was adhered to the hood with some tough double adhesive. Used a hair dryer to heat it up. I will need to go back in and put some new adhesive on it to make it fit like factory.
