HotJuice anyone?

Anyone runnin a hotjuice on a 05
if so
I am trying to find out if it is running your fuel dry. currently i am on stock fuel system. My tranny is getting done in a couple weeks (no concerns there) i just sent off my juice to get "HOT" upgrade. Leeds me to be concerned about fuel now. I am looking into getting the fp gauge (elect/mech?) and also looking into building the fuel system for the future (future holds huge power)
so the original question
is it suckin to much fuel?

Huge power?

If you've got huge power in mind then do the deed now and get a FASS and forget it. Get the 150gph.

I have the haisley auxilery fuel system in mine and love it. It is a totally parallel system to your stock, whereas most others are just in-line pushers. It also costs about half as much as a fass.

I have an 04.5, with the edge Ez 03 position 3 and no other boxes it would pull the mechanical fuel pressure guage down to 0, if I had a vacum guage on it probably would have been negative vacum. That was with the old lift pump mounted on the filter housing which I have since upgraded to the intank pump. Previously @ idle it would be 7-8 pounds and with the intank pump it is now 11-12 @idle. I have since taken the EZ off and reinstalled my edge with hot juice upgrade and @ wot it will pull the fuel pressure down to 3-4 pounds and recover on the top end to about 5 or 6 pounds.I suspect that as soon as I stack the EZ and Hot Juice I will have pressure problems. It will be about a week or two before I get to do this Due to I was having to much fun with the Hot Juice and burned out second gear and am now having upgrades doon.

I have a low fuel led that comes on at 6 psi, with EZ off my truck and hot juice in stock setting under wot in 3rd & 4th gear the led would come on. Needless to say, but with only setting juice on tow setting I could get the led to come on at command resulting in the install of the FASS 150 gph. The led only comes on at start up now just like it should letting me know when the pressure has come off the cp3. Would definetly recommend installing Fass, it was not bad at all to install. Toke about 2.5 hours doing it in the garage at the house.

Sorry, to answer your original ? (inmo) Yes the hot juice will run your stock fuel supply dry.

I understand that they dont make a vacum guage for fuel pressure but If you put a cheap vacum guage temporarly mounted somewhere outside the cab im sure you could get a reading. Most vacum guages also do pressure.

Another option for a fuel system - this is the one I'll be going with...
