? On Hot Juice W/predator Or Puck Combo

Ok got a question for the experts, I currently have the Edge Juice with the Hot upgrade, straight exhaust, S&B intake, Goerend TC and VB. I want to stack the Diablo Predator with it but was wondering if people were getting better results with the predator/puck combo? Maybe all three or am I getting overzealous? Dont want a new turbo yet so if i have to do anything about EGT's it will probably be water/meth. Thanks in advance. By the way its an 06

If you have the HOT upgrade, your egt's should already be out of control....
At least mine are.

It only gets real hot on level 6 at WOT after about 8 seconds. what kind of difference did you see after the walbro? Also can you pm me a couple of pics of your wheel/tire setup, Im interested in going that route when I return from Iraq.

I"m interested in this combo as well.. Does the predator adjust timing? I think that would be the only problem you may run into. The puck I doesn't I believe.

Diablo does timing also so you have to be careful about stacking two devices that adjust timing. Bad things can happen with excessive timing. Very bad. You can request a custom tune from Diablo with less timing. I think you will need to upgrade your turbo before you stack any of this anyway. No way water/meth is going to control the heat that the amount of fuel this stack will produce.

Just the predator adjusts timing though right? The puck does not?

[QUOTE=megadiesel;1520476]It only gets real hot on level 6 at WOT after about 8 seconds. QUOTE]

So you want to add more fuel? "Hey, my truck is really fast......for 5 seconds" You're trying to put the cart before the horse man. You already need a turbo now, you don't need more fuel. Melting pistons is a bad thing. You can make a ton of power with these trucks, but you have to do it in a logical order. The next thing you need is a turbo, then a lift pump, THEN you can add more fuel.

Well I hardly ever use level six because of the temps, and i thought people were successful in stacking the predator without a new turbo, I also thought that I wouldnt be able to turn the juice all the way up anyway due to timing. I am not certain how either of the two make power. Does the predator/puck combo make better power than the hot juice? Maybe I could put it in and use the juice for monitoring and protection? I know you guys have more experience with this stuff than I do thats why I ask, trying to learn.

Morkable runs that stack but I believe his Predator tune is a custom one with less timing from Diablo. Nothing special, anyone can get it by downloading it on their forum. You cannot take advantage of this type of tuning/stacking with the supporting mods. Turbo and trans and needed. Don't even bother if you're not going to spend the money on those two items. You won't be able to floor it for 2 seconds.. if you do, you will melt something very expensive.
